Contract Packaging and Packaging World debut conference

Chicago, IL; April 9, 2007 -- Summit Publishing Company has announced the launch of a new conference for professionals who buy and sell contract packaging and related services. "CP 07: Succeeding with Contract
Packaging" will be produced by Summit business publications, Contract Packaging and Packaging World, in cooperation with the Contract Packaging Association.

An educational and networking event, CP 07 will focus exclusively on contract packaging challenges and solutions. CP 07 is scheduled for September 10-12 at the Chicago Marriott O'Hare.

Packaging World and Contract Packaging publisher, Joe Angel, shares his excitement for this new Summit conference. "In 2005 we launched Contract Packaging to address the informational needs of the fast-growing contract packaging market. Energized by enthusiastic response from the packaging community, we're now looking forward to building CP 07 as a premiere forum for information exchange. We're especially pleased to have the cooperation of our colleagues at the Contract Packaging Association, as well as the considerable talent of Contract Packaging editor Jim George, who will shape what promises to be an outstanding agenda."

Contract Packaging's Jim George echoes Angel's enthusiasm. "Our collective knowledge and industry contacts developed over the years with both Packaging World and Contract Packaging have placed us in an ideal position to deliver top-drawer content. The caliber of the speakers and the relevance of the topics we're assembling are certain to resonate with the contract packaging community. We look forward to announcing our agenda soon."

Online registration for CP 07 will open in April.
